June Haikus!

We’re still trying for this, right? A brief survey found that I’m down 50 for the year, so that’s obviously less than ideal, but when I remember it’s still fun for my creativity. Why haikus again? I feel like that deserves its own blog post. Hmm… Decisions, decisions. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!

Both lavenders died.

Maybe there is a lesson there.

Because my third lives.

We were all heroes

‘Till accountability

Made you the villain.

Let me think of you,

Dreams we promised each other,

Forgetting myself.

I hope you found it-

Wherever it was that I

Gave you directions.

How many can see

How I look, when I smile,

As I think of you?

What is a minute

Spent conversing with a friend?

I want whole lifetimes.

Tiny pop of sweet

Hidden under shading leaves

Chew- a little tart.

Small one granted peace,

Understanding, and respect,

By good friend of death.
