We are here! We’ve seen today,
And gathered together for Thanksgiving.
That’s more than a lot of folks can say.
It’s a bit surreal, come in and stay.
Escape this year so content with taking.
But we are here, we’ve seen today.
I know it’s raining, and the sky is grey,
But we’ve a merry little gathering!
That’s more than a lot of folks can say.
The kitchen’s absolute disarray!
I’m almost all done with prepping.

And although not everyone may
Be here, they’re all still breathing.

But we can celebrate, though the way
This year was dark and foreboding
