Balance found in between gusts.

The sun? Warm again.

Let me draw portals,

Pathways, bridges, tunnels through

The walls of your mind.

Limitless bright joy!

Spark and flash of a new match-

Shadows stand no chance.

Soldier in the field,

Know how your fight inspires

The Home Front’s support.

We’ve created lives.

Entire worlds on pages!

Destroyed them, as well.

When I someday day

May I at least remember

Just one day alive.

Take all life’s punches!

Stem bleeding, cover bruises.

Rise- Throw them right back.

Little river gem,

I’m sorry to have tricked you.

Back under the flow.

Wasp, you must exist.

Nature granted you a spot.

Just… not in my house.

The last storm’s coming.
